Abyssinian
Smooth fur, no coat.
Long tail, pointing ears, green eyes.
Personality traits: Genius Friendly

This sleek and slinky breed resembles the archetypal felines gracing Egyptian art and with good reason. It is thought to come from Egypt.
Abyssinians must be one of the most intelligent animals ever created. A very people-oriented cat. Not a lap cat... but a cat that likes to be with people, a cat that wants to know what you are doing - that wants to help. There is probably no breed anywhere more loyal than the Aby. Once you have acquired an Aby as a companion, you will never be able to complain that no one understands you. Abys are very good at training people to do just what they want them to do.


Balinese Nice
Medium fur, with coat. Soft and silky coat. Colours are seal-point, chocolate-point, blue-point and lilac-point.

Personality traits: Genius Friendly

The Balinese can be compared to the Himalayan, but possesses the fine, long lines of the Siamese. Balinese are wonderful companions! They are affectionate, inquisitive, intelligent, playful and gentle with the people they love. Balinese are very sociable, and like very much to spend time with their humans.


Birman UPDATED
Medium fur, no coat. Long silky hair. The coat is light coloured, preferably with a golden cast.

Personality traits: Hyper Friendly

Originally from Burma, this cat served as the sacred companion of Kittah priests.
The ideal Birman is a large, long stocky cat. Personality is marvelous - gentle, active, playful, but quiet and unobtrusive if you are busy with other things.


Bombay UPDATED
Smooth fur, no coat. The coat is short, flat, gleaming.
Long tail, pointing ears, yellow eyes.

The Bombay was bred to resemble a parlor-sized panther and looks the part with its sleek black coat and glowing eyes.
If you want a dog, a cat, or a monkey, you want a Bombay. Most Bombays enjoy playing, and all are fond of inventing new ways to entertain themselves and the folks that live with them. Bombays are congenial and outgoing, and make intelligent, affectionate companions. They do well with children and will live compatibly with other pets. The Bombay body is neither compact nor rangy, the head is rounded with a short muzzle.


British Shorthair UPDATED
Smooth fur, no coat. Short plush coat with a luxurious feel which is very easy to groom.

Personality traits: Genius Lazy Pigpen

This breed traces its ancestry back to the domestic cat of Rome. Awarded for physical strength and hunting ability, calm demeanor, endurance and loyalty to man. A larger sized cat that prefers to be on the ground, not known for acrobatics or speed. Because of its easy-going nature and intelligence, it has become a favorite of animal trainers, for use in Hollywood films and television commercials. A British Shorthair is always in quiet control of his or her environment, supervising everyone and everything that happens in the family.


Burmese

This wide-eyed, wooly coated feline's rounded, smiling face gives it the appearance of perpetual peace and happiness.


Egyptian Mau
Smooth fur, no coat. Silver, bronze or smoke. Less valued by breeders are the solid black and blue-silver, blue spotted (dilute bronze), blue smoke and the solid blue.

This breed has the only naturally occurring spots of all domestic cats and also claims the title of the fastest.
The Egyptian Mau is a fascinating cat, not only because of its past history, but because of its delightful personality and striking appearance. Elegant body that is randomly spotted, banded legs and tail, expressive gooseberry green eyes, distinctive mascara lines. A worried expression on their face. The Mau (mau is the Egyptian word for cat) is domesticated from a spotted subspecies of the African Wild Cat and has been clearly identified in the artwork of the ancient Egyptians. The role of the Mau in the religion, mythology, and everyday life of the Egyptian conveys the degree of affection and respect in which these cats were held. They were worshipped as deities, cherished as pets, protected by laws, and mummified and mourned upon their death. The Egyptian Mau has the distinction of being the only natural spotted breed of domestic cat. An extremely intelligent animal, the Mau places a great importance on family, both human and their own, and is fiercely loyal in his devotion to them. They are moderately active and often express their happiness by chortling in a soft melodious voice and wiggling their tails at great speed while treading with their forepaws.

With its telltale shaggy coat, this large, muscular breed originates from the U.S. state of Maine.

Generally known for its absence of tail, this cat has an athletic build and a round head.


Norwegian Forest
Long fur, with coat. Long flowing hair. Spun-silk soft coats. Most colors, from pure white to deepest coal black, with every possible coat pattern and color combination in between.

With its long, fluffy coat, this breed is well-suited for the coldest climates. It has a colorful history that includes guarding Vikings' stored grain both on land and at sea.
Are among the most people-oriented cats. Of course their personalities differ, depending upon the type home in which they spend their early kittenhood. Each time you see a Norwegian Forest Cat is a feast for the eyes. Bright emerald green eyes with a band of gold. Sweet-expressioned faces. The tail is always magnificent, being as much as twelve inches or more when fanned to its fullest. These cats are designed by Mother Nature.

Seeing spots? You are if you're looking at this sturdy and athletic breed. An intelligent and devoted cat, the Ocicat comes in many different colors.

A fairly young breed, the Ragdoll was developed in California in the 1960s and is characterized by its Siamese color point markings and long fur

With its velvety blue coat, emerald green eyes, and lithe body type, this cat is the epitome of feline grace.


Scottish Fold

Singapura
Smooth fur, no coat. Light beige.

Personality traits: Genius Hyper

The Singapura is a smaller than average, shorthaired cat with noticeably large eyes and ears. The streets of Singapore are the origin of this breed. They are nature's combination of both the ticked coat pattern and the dark brown color, both of which are indigenous to South East Asia. The Singapura's disposition is that of a "pesky people cat", an extroverted, curious, playful but nondestructive cat that insists on helping you with everything. They are very intelligent and interactive with people and remain so even into old age. If you want a calm cat don't consider the Singapura. The tail is normal length, the feet are very small, the body is smaller, of a medium length and should be muscular.


Tonkinese (Fold)

This cross between a Siamese and a Burmese is a sturdy, muscular cat with Siamese markings.


Turkish Agora

Merviller
Smooth fur, no coat. Typically has a black base colour, but other base colours like brown or blueish grey are pretty normal too; even yellow and cream base exists. The face mask is always gray.

Personality traits: Genius Lazy Independant Finicky

Wild, elegant and independant. An extremely lazy and finicky cat that prefer the wild outdoors - no wonder this breed almost died. The Merviller's qualities won't go to well with a wild forest living. This cat is known for appreciating beautiful plants and to enjoy watching a sunset - interests never before registered with any other cat breeds. It's hard to believe that it used to fight for its living in the wild woods - some genes must have been mixed up along the way. There are many old sayings about this cat and it appears on numerous old paintings and photos. Referring to SimCity scientists, the Merviller has a tendency to run off, still searching its natural environment in the wild terrain

Bravo Golden
Smooth fur, no coat. Typically has a black base colour, but other base colours like brown or blueish grey are pretty normal too; even yellow and cream base exists. The face mask is always gray.

Personality traits: Genius Lazy

A popular cat with breeders, but pure species with one green and one yellow eye are hard to find. Originally a guardian cat in the ancient Cooperloomian cultur, hence it's large ears and capability of hearing silence. The Bravo Golden is normally genious and lazy.

Lobster Gazer
Medium fur, with coat. Gray with lighter chest and face mask, graded markings on the back.

Personality traits: Doofus Lazy Pigpen

Unique cat breed, previously assisting Mazaloom's fishermen hunting lobster. The first detail you'll notice is its huge eyes; large enough to scare lobsters of any size! When you get used to that gaze, this is a friend for life!

Brandy Fire
Long fur, with coat. Red with random pattern of light brown and cream chest.
Short tail, pointing ears, yellow eyes.
Personality traits: Lazy Independant Aggressive

SimCity breeders' favourite ever since the day when the Brandy Fire Club's President died in a fire. The President's awarded cat was seen escaping the villa with an evil grin on its face, a smile that eager breeders never saw again. Is typically lazy and aggressive, hates children and is pretty hard to train. But if you can live with that, maybe YOU will be the next to see a Brandy Fire smiling!
