The situation in the Sim Watch house is reported to be good. From Day6 to Day10 the test-persons have established relations, new skills have been achieved, 2 out of 3 sinks broken, and a party is currently ongoing!

While the Sim Science team makes their observations, our piles with documents are constantly growing! We note every single action by each test-person, many of these are not included in the official reports, we check their health and mood situation daily, their relations, skills and even how well and where they sleep. All in al, this is a lot of information, and the team of scientists involved, has agreed on reducing the details of actions, focusing on socializing only. This will not effect the quality of our publicized reports other than making them a little shorter, and less time consuming for us reporting, starting with the Day11-15 report.

To make sure we don't miss a lot on each of the test-persons' actions and behaviour, we will focus on each of them for a full day, with a detailed report even to be released as part of the next report. On the project's main web page you will see the schedule of our "In the spot" days, and there you can even help us to choose who will be next in the spot.

In this report I want to focus on the 3 hottest relations, as well as the coldest relations, because we have both!

Magdalena and Agnes
This is the warmest relation by far, they are not good friends (50+) yet, but that might change soon. Especially on Day6 these two women had a long and good talk in the kitchen.

John and Arthur
These two guys are doing very well together for some reason. We noticed already in the very beginning that they spent time together, and when Arthur was insulted or attacked by the ladies, he seems to run over to John for some moral support. This couple might also become real friends (50+) during the next 5 days.

John and Sonia
Finally two test-Sims are dancing! John asked Sonia to dance with him just before midnight on Day8, they enjoyed dancing to Spanish music by the SimCity Radio #.. But did this effect their relation? We think so, at least did Sonia's enthusiasm for John increase (20 to 28) during Day8, while Sonia was John's 2nd best relation after Day8.

Magdalena and Sonia
They fought on Day5, but after that day they have been rather calm to each other, although they have not done much to improve their relation #.

Arthur and Magdalena
Magdalena is over and over again trying to give Arthur back rubs, which he doesn't like at all. We have a feeling that Magdalena, who we think wasn't honest when she told us her age, is feeling a little like a mother to Arthur. Nevertheless, they have a pretty bad relation.

Arthur and Agnes
Also Agnes has been trying to get closer to Arthur, but he normally protests when she wants to give him a back rub etc. Which brings us the 3rd worst relation, far out in the critical red zone.

We also have made a couple more observations, such as Quentin, Rita and Rasputiz having no good relations at all. We have understood they might be happy with the lonely situation, but Rita is actually quite fond of John, while he has no such feelings back towards her. We are not talking about love here, just a growing attraction. Also Arthur has a pretty bad social life, as 2 of his 3 stronger relations are negative.

It's still early, and we expect the relations to just have started to form themselves after 10 days. Therefor, it will be very interesting to watch the situation in 5 sim days from now.

My report will be pretty short this time, but we have had a couple strange things happen in the Sim Watch house. A specialist I've been talking with suggests there might be a ghost in the Sim House! Personally, I'm a little more realistic, but I still have no explanation:

On Day8 and Day9, they were all attracted to the kitchen, by something I'd describe as a magic dish placed on the corner of the kitchen counter. This meal might not have been properly prepared, as it looked like all of our test-persons wanted to prepare it, but couldn't reach it. The magic dish kept attracting them to the kitchen, where they seemed to be stuck for a limited period. Until Quentin grabbed it and cleaned the dish at 4:25 PM Day8 #. Problem solved, we thought. But the magic was not gone! Also the following day (Day9) the gang flocked to the kitchen, no matter how tired they were, and looked stuck in there. 

Sinks
8 sims means heavy traffic on the sinks #. On Day7 Rasputiz broke the bathroom sink upstairs, and on Day9 also the kitchen sink broke #! This caused a lot of water mess on the respective floors, and things started to look bad as they will not hire a repairman until Day15! But, suddenly, on Day 9, we observed Quentin cleaning the kitchen floor, and the next thing we knew was that the sink was fixed! We know he has 3 Mechanical skills, but we didn't expect anyone to fix a broken sink all by themselves.

First timers
On Day8, the TV set was switched on for the very first time, by Rita who watched a horror movie #. We did expect someone to watch TV daily from the start, but perhaps there are too many fun activities to choose from in the Sim Watch house. While a TV is just a TV...

Only 2 hours later Magdalena turned on the stereo, also for the first time #. This is also something we expected to happen much earlier, especially as it's an expensive Strings Theory Stereo.

After 5 days with chaos, things have established a little for the better. For some. Not for the aquarium fish, which died # in the morning of Day6 #.

And not to speak about how dirty the toilets and the showers must be #! 8 adult Sims using them daily, and hardly any of them ever cleaning them. I need to tell you about Rita's reaction when they had hired a maid on Day10. Rita woke up at noon, about to take a bath in the tub upstairs, but suddenly she changed her mind, and ran off for one of the showers downstairs instead - we checked, and the maid had just finished cleaning those showers #! After 9 dirty days, it's no wonder Rita could smell the clean shower! The maid did a splendid job, but poor girl, she left the Sim Watch house at 5:45 PM, still was she only half done.

On Day7 they were allowed to hire a gardener for 1 day, but no plants were dead, and the test-persons have been clever watering the plants #.
The maid was a major happening on Day10, and so was the party. According to the project schedule, we threw in a cake and some party balloons at 7 PM. And the test-persons knew (who told them?), because Magdalena was done in the bath tub upstairs at 6:45 PM, Rasputiz just finished in the shower downstairs, John in the atrium waiting for guests, Rita in atrium already greeting a guest who came a little early 6:50 PM (we figure the guest knew about the party from reading our web reports, oh - the guest was Jim Loveless, the houseman of this web site's web master, that explains it all:). The dining table was packed with dirty dish (again, poor maid) but we found a free spot on the table for placing the cake. We put 4 sets of party balloons at the entrance (most of the test-persons complained at the balloons #, but we had no choice as it was one of the scheduled events).

The guests were all male; Jim Loveless, Rudy Valentino, Sven and Carl Hornsby, and Bertil Hornsby. Everybody (well, almost, i.e. Magdalena left for bed just when it all was about to start) gathered in the dining room when Rasputiz carved the cake. At midnight of Day10 we left them; John is talking with Sven Hornsby, Rita with Bertil Hornsby, guest Jim Loveless with guest Rudy Valentino, guest Carl L. Hornsby is in the kitchen, where Sonia is about to enter in order to serve dinner, and Agnes is paralysed in the atrium, where also the police woman is awaiting for someone to greet her #!

In each test-person's journal, their worst friendship is listed only if their worst relation is below -10. Best relation is listed only if the friendship is above 20.

John has spent some time with Sonia and Rita, although his best relation so far is with Arthur, Sonia is the runner up. Daily John was seen steadying or cleaning up trash or even toilets and floor #. On several occasions he watered plants #, most often right after midnight, but he has served only one group meal during this 5 days period. On Day7 he was the one who called a gardener. 

John has played some chess, earning one skill level on the night of Day6.

John had some rather positive 5 days, although way less good moments than the others in the household, he was often playing the SimRailRoad set #, sitting in the hot tub, or even using the 3D glasses or the slot machine. He also applauded to both the chess tables when they were delivered on Day6 #, and he has played some chess, too.
John also danced with Sonia on night of Day8.

John attended the party on night of Day10, and he mingled both guests Jim Loveless and Sven Hornsby. Other than that he didn't seem to like the party too much, as he sat alone in the hot tub for some time. 

On Day10 John had an bladder accident in dining room at 4:30 PM, he cleaned up right away, and went upstairs to take a bath, but the newly hired maid refused to leave the bathroom, so he had to use one of the showers downstairs instead.

Due to an accident on Day8 Quentin has adjusted his sleeping rhythm to the better, as he now gets up at 8 AM, note he slept for 14 hours! His 5 days have been rather easy on him #, he had a lot of fun and almost no negative events. He is probably the one spending most time on cleaning up mess and gardening. Every day except Day10 he steadied about 3 times #, and he was observed watering plants almost as often. This is no surprise at all, as he is extremely neat. He has not served one single group meal for the past 5 days.

We also noticed that the broken kitchen sink was repaired after Quentin used it, and we wonder if he repaired it, although it might have been repaired by itself because if he did it he must have fixed it in less than 30 Sim minutes. We also note that Quentin enjoyed swimming in the gym.
He attended the party on Day10, but he went to bed rather early.

Quentin had lots of fun, alone and together with the others, Arthur in particular. He has been in the hot tub daily, but he also played the computer game, entered the swimming pool with Arthur, and enjoyed the 3D-glasses.

On Day8 at 6:45 AM he fell asleep standing next to hot tub.

Arthur had some good 5 days, after his dramatic experience on Day5, which by the way explains why he slept so many hours on Day6+7. He has been pretty clever at cleaning up stuff, but hardly watered any plant, and served no group meal at all. He earned 2 skill points, where of 1 body point from swimming in the pool. His social relations has not changed a lot, John is still the favourite, while Magdalena and Sonia is bothering him.

On Day10 Arthur got first 1 skill point from playing chess with John, just a couple hours later he got 1 body point from swimming in the indoor pool together with Quentin #. Arthur was the first test person observed in the swimming pool on Day8 #.

Arthur had many good moments. Every day he spent hours in the hot tub, but he was also having fun twice in the swimming pool, as the first test person. It's strange that he has such a bad relation with Magdalena, and at the same time is hanging around her almost daily. 

On Day6 Arthur was having a rather unpleasant meeting with Sonia in the FUN room. She teased and insulted him, until he started to cry. He ran off to join John in the kitchen. Then on Day7 Magdalena insisted on giving him a back rub, but he protested, also when she tickled him #. Then, shortly after, Agnes started to give him a back rub, which he still disliked. It seems like Arthur is more popular with the ladies than he appreciates.

Day9 was also sort of negative on Arthur, because he was trapped in the kitchen for hours, paralysed by a dirty dish on the corner counter section. This happened to several of the test persons, and it was not a social action, so we decided not to put any negative mark.

The all over marks for Magdalena looks positive, and she has a remarkable steady sleep rhythm. She proves to be very social, like expected #. Her only problem seems to be that she is a little too eager on giving back rubs and getting very close, so without planning it she often turns the others away. Her best relation is with Agnes, but she is spending most time together with Arthur, although the two don't seem to understand each other. 

She has hardly done anything to clean up the mess in the Sim Watch house #, ironically it was Magdalena who called to order a maid # on Day10, and later that day she was hanging over the poor maid in the kitchen, probably checking that the maid did a proper job #. Magdalena served only a couple group meals, both on Day7, where of she cleaned the entire meal before any of the others got there to grab a plate.

Magdalena applauded to the new chess tables on Day6, but she has not played chess yet. But, she was the first person turning on the stereo, listening to Spanish traditional music, on Day8. She seems to be fond of music, on Day9 she was observe dancing with her worst relation, Sonia!

Magdalena's best moments were many; when in hot tub, playing SimRailRoad set, greeting some guests, and when trying to please Arthur (Day7). She has been dancing, too. We did expect her to be the star of their Day10 party, but she disliked the party balloons and went to bed shortly after the guests arrived!

On Day6 Magdalena felt very depressed #, needing to socialize. She started to cry when Rasputiz did stop her when she started to tickle him. Her reaction was to entertain hi (which he strongly disliked), then she insulted and teased him, and we expected to see a repetition of the terrible situation on Day5 (Sonia), but Quentin seemed to be quite relaxed about it all. On Day10 Magdalena wanted to entertain Arthur in the kitchen, but he turned her down and left to her disappointment.

Sonia has definitely been having 5 great days, with no negative marks at all! She is constantly bragging and teasing the others, but this time with no particular drama. Sonia and John was the first couple to dance. They have hardly spent time together on other activities, but still John is Sonia's best relation. She must be fond of dancing, cause on Day9 she even danced with her worst relation, Magdalena #.

She has eagerly been cleaning up mess, although she also cleaned a not yet touched group meal, and once she threw the garbage from the terrace on the dining room floor instead of in the trash can. She has also contributed to gardening, but has served only one group meal during 5 days.

We find her sleep rhythm interesting, because it tends to adjust itself after daylight. We will keep an eye on this adjustment also for the next 5 days.

Sonia applauded the two chess tables, and joined John playing chess right away. At 10 PM on Day6, she earned her first logical point. 
She was also observed exercising in the swimming pool #.

Sonia has been in the hot tub regularly, even naked with a male guest (who asked not to be named in this report) #. she has been swimming, dancing, playing computer game, playing chess, slot machine and 3D-glasses, but she also have fun when teasing, bragging and scaring the others. Many of them have been "attacked", but nobody was wounded this time.

On Day10, she joined the party eating cake in the dining room, she also brought some cake with her to the terrace, together with Rasputiz and Agnes. She had no plans of leaving the party when the SimCity Police came to complain at midnight.

Rita was the first test-person to turn on the TV set, on Day8. She was also about to be the first person using the swimming pool, but she changed her mind after entering the gym.

Her social pattern is not too obvious. After the previous 5 days, we thought she might make a couple with Quentin, but after Day10 we have noticed how well she goes together with John, as he is her best relation yet. Is she having a crush on him? She has surprised us a little by not cleaning, watering or serving group meals any more than the others #.
Just like Sonia, also Rita is adjusting her sleep rhythm, we will keep an eye on it, to see if this is automatically done according to daylight #. 

Rita was not involved in any dramatic scenes, making these 5 days purely positive. Who would believe that for a person who starts the 5 day period by laying asleep on the atrium floor, and ends standing in a water pool in the kitchen at midnight of Day10... 

Is this the Queen of chess or what? On Day9+10 Rita played chess for a total of 12 hours #! She played chess with guest Bertil Hornsby on Day10, as he arrived a little early for the party, and they played until 5 minutes before the party was supposed to start.
In addition she painted a picture giving her 1 skill point of creativity. It's the best skill improvement we've seen over 5 days this far.

She has spent a lot of time in hot tub with John, and playing the SimRailRoad also with John. She also played the slot machine and watched TV - alone.

She attended the party on the night of Day10. She disliked the party balloons, but greeted several guests, and ate cake with the group. Close to midnight, when the SimCity Police arrived to complain #, Rita was standing in a water pool in the kitchen, talking with one of the guests. 

She slept a couple hours on the atrium ground.

An extremely playful and quite outgoing test-person is expected to have some fun, and as the Sim Watch house is stuffed with fun stuff (!) Agnes has absolutely no difficulties on this matter. But, she has also been very eager to clean up mess here and there, she served a total of 5 group meals, and although she didn't water a lot of plants, she watered some. Except from a bladder accident and falling asleep out in the hallway upstairs, she managed very well. Also; Agnes is the one having the highest friendship score.

Agnes had more fun than any of the other test-persons. Just check this list:
Day6: observed in hot tub with Rasputiz and a female guest. Later on playing computer games in the library.
Day7: Giving Arthur a series of back rubs even though he dislikes it, then joining him in the hot tub, then playing with 3D-glasses, later on greeting a female guest who Agnes starts tickling almost right away.
Day8: Joining Arthur and Quentin in hot tub very early in the morning, stayed in hot tub for 3-4 hours. at noon se joined Magdalena in the hot tub, in the evening she played computer games again, and just before midnight Agnes and Sonia entered the hot tub, naked.
Day9: Also this morning she spent hours in the hot tub, with Arthur, Quentin and John, later with Rasputiz. She played with the 3D-glasses at night, before she took another hour in the hot tub.
Day10: Watching TV, played computer games, danced with Sonia in the FUN-room, and finally she enjoyed the party they threw at night. She wasn't even properly dressed (PJ), greeting Rudy Valentino and Sven Hornsby, eating cake and still having fun at midnight.

Just before noon on Day6, Agnes had to pee while being social in the kitchen. Either this means she can't control herself, or that she find socializing more important than making a fool of herself, she just continued talking with Magdalena.

On Day7, just before midnight, Agnes fell asleep while standing in the hallway upstairs #. It was a hard start on Day8, but she recovered quickly, but it naturally disturbed her sleep rhythm pretty bad.

Rasputiz had some easy 5 days, but compared to other test-persons he has been a little quiet. He played chess a lot and earned 4 skill points - if Rita is the Chess Queen, Rasputiz is the King #.
Something strange happened to Rasputiz on Day9; he was very restless, we started to get worried he might get a nervous breakdown or something. All night he returned to the bathroom upstairs, filled the tub with water at least 5 times, but each time he pulled the plug and went somewhere else for 15 minutes. We never figured what was wrong, maybe he is a little nervous by nature?

On Day7 he caused the bathroom sink to break, a silly thing to do 2 days after the Repairman was there, next time they will call him will be on Day15. He has been quite clever with housekeeping, but hardly watered plants # or served meals. 

Rasputiz has no best relation, but he has spent a lot of time with Agnes, often entering the hit tub when she is already in it - is he attracted to her?

Played chess on his own for 8 hours on Day8 #, and again for nearly 6 hours on Day10, including playing 30 minutes with guest Bertil Hornsby who arrived a little early for the party on Day10. 

Rasputiz had much fun, mainly in the hot tub, but he did also read a book in the library, and enjoyed the SimRailRoad set for a little while.

He did attend the party, actually he was the one to carve the cake #, and he did it well, taking a shower just before the party, carving cake, mingle with the guests and also joined Sonia and Agnes on the terrace eating more cake.

Rasputiz had a bad time on Day6 when he was teased, insulted and teased again by Magdalena. We feared another drama, but Rasputiz walked away, quietly.
