General:
Aquamarine Water has only recently opened for settlement, but already several families have set down their roots and are finding the fertile land the perfect place to raise happy families and beautiful gardens! The hood hopes to expand, but all residents hope to keep a careful eye on the number of immigrants that come into the area - above all, the unique balance of Aquamarine Water's ecosystem must be maintained.

Speciality:
Aquamarine Water is set a good distance away from the busy cities, providing a nice, private place for Sims of all backgrounds to settle in and experience life with the beautiful mysteries of nature surrounding each home. Privacy and respect for the local flora and fauna are key to Aquamarine Water's values!

History:
Long ago the rich valleys of Aquamarine Water were filled with water, creating a vast inland lake that extended for miles in all directions. Sloping hills frequent flooding made the land unstable for Sims to build their homes. Geologists eventually discovered a rich wealth of aquamarine stones in the soils around and in the lake, but it was considered too expensive to harvest them from the area. The beautiful, clear blue stones gave the lake its name - Aquamarine Water. The series of small earthquakes changed the local geology and eventually caused the lake to drain out of the valleys until only a strong river remained. Recently Sims have been moving into Aquamarine Water, finding the secluded location and fertile soil perfect for starting a new life...
