Simmerville Studio's brand new manager is Cleopatra R. Stello. She has been working as the Way To Go Travels' far east guide for quite a while. Now she decided to slow down, travelling wise, so she quit her guiding job and got herself a new job within the hood of Simmerville. I, Glorietta Wooblershield Bluzz, used to manage the Studio, so - no wonder I'm curious to learn about any plans for the lovely culture establishment. There's showbiz in her blood!
GWB: Congratulations on your new job!
CRS: Thank you! I'm looking so much forward to my very first night at work. Because of the temporary break, the bartender quit, so it feels pretty much like starting from scratch. It's a nice location, it felt a bit scary to walk into the old set of the Soap Box studio. It's still there, but I think a rebuild might be over due! GWB: So, why did you want the job? CRS: Honestly, I just wanted to quit guiding. I got 2 daughters, a husband and 2 dogs - all needing me at home. When I did guide, I spent days away, even when I was highly pregnant. Those days are over. You know the Way To Go Travels manager died, and it felt as a good time for quiting. And you ask, why I chose Simmerville Studio... well, I never focused much on showbiz, although I am of the popularity seeking kind, I admit. But now it feels quite natural managing the studio. My dear mother, the actress Simona Rose, must have left a little bit of her limelight talent to me, after all. GWB: Oh, sorry about the death of your mother, she must have been around here at the Studio a lot. CRS: Well, she did run the small showbiz place called The Rose, some time ago. Ha, looks like I'm copying that bit of her path, at least. Any new services?
GWB: In the past, Simmerville Studio produced and provided many TV shows, commercials and more. Will this work be increased?
CRS: No. This is a shareholders company, and these things will not be up to me alone, but my directives so far seem to focus on running this place for the locals. This includes several services though. The Right Now movies will still be produced, but in a new format. And we will still provide portrait photography. To place your order, visit the Studio and talk to me about your wants. Then send me a §1000 cheque. I will then call you over shortly to have your photo taken. And, may I; Judy Ballong and Juston Snakespeare, you both need to pick up your portraits, and do bring a §1000 cheque! GWB: Hah, I took those portraits, nobody cared to pick them up yet? You should hurry, I heard Juston Snakespeare is getting old and sick and Judy moved downtown... So, will there be an outdoor serving this Spring? CRS: Yes, there will! If the shareholders are satisfied, that is. Well, I think I better check on the new bartender, I just hired Baron Swims, he is a painting artist, and you know painting artists needs some income, too! Right Now with a new format
GWB: One more question! You said Right Now will be different? How? CRS: Instead of covering all and random households the series will now focus on just 4 or 5 households. I don't know who those households will be, we might call for volunteers. And if any readers want to suggest a household to be featured on every single episode, let me know!. GWB: Thank you! And good luck with Studio! |
